In addition to the new Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e announced at Samsung Unpacked 2019, Samsung teased a special edition with 5G. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G – As the name suggests, this version is going to support 5G. The S10 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor including the X50 Modem that enables the 5G technology.
The Galaxy S10 5G has a larger display compared to the other S10’s. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ resolution display with dynamic AMOLED technology that offers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and viewing angles. The phones have a very small bezel all around the display with a punch out. The punch out on the S10 5G is wider than what we’ve got on the S10 Plus.
The Galaxy S10 5G has a dedicated fourth camera for 3D depth-sensing which is useful in some advanced AR features. The triple camera set up is similar to what we’ve got on the S10 Plus. The primary camera 12MP camera dual aperture camera with f/1.5, f/2.4. The phone also has a 16MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. The S10 5G has a lot of features that are the same as the other S10. The phone runs on Android Pie with OneUI. The phone has an ultrasonic In display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Unfortunately, the 5G version does not offer a micro SD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The S10 5G offers a massive 4,500 mAh battery, larger than the S10 Plus, which has a 4,100 mAh battery. The S10 5G supports fast wireless charging 2.0, as well as reverse wireless charging.
